Roberto is an Italian artist, poet and entrepreneur. His work emerges from the same impulse across different forms: to build structures for things that cannot otherwise be held - emotion, memory, absence and transformation.
Rather than treating technology as an aesthetic, he approaches it as material. Artificial intelligence, robotics, pigment, language, gravity and duration can occupy the same work, each leaving its own resistance and imperfection.
Roberto’s relationship with Mexico developed through long periods of living and working there. Tulum became a place where writing, landscape and ritual could coexist without needing to be separated into different practices.
ETERNO was presented in Tulum in 2025. POMERICA grows from that book and from the experience of a territory where matter, time and symbolic life remain visibly entangled. Mexico enters the work as lived experience - never as borrowed ornament.
